BTMS-50, or Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a vegetable based conditioning emulsifier. It is derived from the natural plant oil Colza, or what is commonly known as Rapeseed Oil (the plant for canola oil). It offers excellent detangling and conditions without the build-up often seen with other conditioning quaternary conditioning agents.
Hydrolyzed Oat Protein: This hydrating complex of vegetable derived hydrolyzed oat protein helps add and retain moisture to the skin and add softness, manageability and texture to the hair. This moisturizer will impart a soft, cushiony feeling on the skin and hair with a velvet-like smoothness after drying. it is made from the proprietary hydrolysis of oats, It is a humectant, so I use it for both that purpose and the silky feeling it offers to hair care products.
